The Sun Is Winning

Away and yet present. Thinking about Oliver Cromwell and all the letters he must have written, the human cognition machine that runs on water and a little nourishment, and a pen emptied of ink.

Away. And yet present. The sun works to push through hazy wispy clouds. The air warmed just enough to not feel as Winter but more of a promise of Spring although the nights are still indicative of the season. I think about this Oliver Cromwell fellow and that he too must have written quite many lines and letters but how many are writing for the sake of writing to see what lies beneath the surface of wakeful consciousness to marvel at the power of the human cognition machine which requires little more than water and some nourishment for function and operation. Care for the vessel which houses the center for human thought production. The sun is winning in the battle of cloud melting. I've also completely emptied the ink from this pen.
