The Little Black Book of Hansuru
A book I wrote about selling options for income, built on one law: survive first. It shows a record most books would hide, and that is the reason it exists. Out now in Kindle and paperback.
Antifragility
Posts on Nassim Taleb's idea of antifragility and how I try to apply it to systems, money, and daily practice.

Recursive DevOps
DevOps was always a feedback loop. The first one ran between people. The one worth building now runs the system back on itself, so every failure and every change makes the next one cheaper and safer. The recursion is the compounding.
Microservices, Agents, and What I Am Building Next
Microservices used to be a tax a solo builder could not afford. AI agents change that math. Here is why I am drawn to the architecture for what I build next, and the discipline that keeps it from becoming a mess.
Living with Antifragility: How I Build Systems and a Life That Gain from Disorder
Antifragility is not resilience. Resilient things survive disorder; antifragile things gain from it. Here is how I apply Taleb's framework to fifteen years of engineering, the way I build films and books from code, and a ten-day journal cycle run as a stress rhythm.
What Is People of the Stars? A Non-Human Clock for Decision-Making
People of the Stars (POTS) is a temporal intelligence framework that uses real astronomical data as a non-human clock for decision-making, with positioning logic borrowed from options trading. This is the explainer page for the framework and how it sits alongside decanal journaling.
The Five Days Outside Time: Between Completion and Beginning
The five epagomenal days sit between the old decanal year and the new, belonging to neither. In the gap between completion and beginning, what becomes visible that was invisible from inside the machinery of ordinary time? Rest, review, imbalance, grief, honesty, and the quiet preparation to walk through the door.
Decan 36: The Dog Star Sees What the Hunter Doesn't
The brightest star in the night sky closes the decanal year with a flood of completions arriving faster than they can be documented. A binary system of living fire and collapsed starlight teaches that what is most important is always the closest thing, and that the Dog Star has been watching the ground while the Hunter scanned the sky.
Decan 35: The Edge That Held
The fifth and final Orion decan closes the Hunter's arc: ten days of truth-testing under maximum institutional pressure that confirmed every competence, clarified every boundary, and revealed that alignment with reality is more valuable than approval. The belt holds at its edge.
Decan 34: The Center Pearl That Holds
The fourth star in Orion's Belt teaches continuity through endurance, legacy through transmission, and recovery as the truest form of governance. Ten days that tested everything and proved that the center holds not through perfection but through repair.
Decan 33: When the Sword Arm Strikes
On maximum effect through intelligent deployment not accumulation, discovering the missing arena at the worst possible moment, crossing a major life threshold, and what a star burning at 22,000 Kelvin from just 8.6 solar masses teaches about efficiency over force
Speak First, Learn Second: Building an Antifragile Spanish Engine
Everything about how we teach languages is backwards. Study, memorize, practice, then maybe speak. I built a system that reverses the order: speak under pressure first, log what breaks, drill the friction, speak again. No app. No gamification. Just markdown files, agent prompts, and real people.
Ex Negativa and the Scribe
A spectrum of AI slop measured by how often human hands refined the work, Alan Watts on the taboo of knowing who you are, Taleb's ex negativa, and the scribe's one job: legible letters.
Decan 32: When the Foot Plants for the Release
On learning that manifestation requires grounding before release, discovering friction as improvement mechanism, detecting the first signal, and traveling 172 million kilometers while the blue supergiant teaches precision through crisis
A Hug From the Universe
Winter sun, a neighbor's barking dog, and a hug from the universe that urges me onward. Then an idea gets its name: situational governance, a meta governor for reading the climate of any arena.
On Threads: Where Attention Should Go
Time was never the constraint. We just lacked the language to describe what was. A meditation on attention, collaboration, and where the threads of a life should go.
Aboard a Planet Hurtling Through Space
Letters looking sharper, Betelgeuse so dearly red, a ship built with redundant systems, and why we talk of life on land while riding a planet through space. Then a new pen and grade school ink.
Ice Builds in the Shadows
Redundant systems and optionality, like enough space heaters for when the furnace goes out. Then back to letters in the winter sun, where warmth reaches some places and ice builds in the shadows.
Decan 28: The Demon Star Teaches Renewal Through Its Eclipse
On discovering Algol's 2.867-day eclipsing binary pattern in your own sleep cycles, learning that 'this part doesn't get easier but I get more prepared and resilient,' and understanding how mass transfer physics means what eclipses you can become what feeds you
Algol: Decan 28 - Renewal through Challenge (December 15-24)
The photons entering your eyes right now left Algol in 1932. For three thousand years called cursed, this eclipsing binary star reveals how challenges follow rhythms and obstacles become fuel. December 15-24: face what blocks your light, consume its mass, emerge brighter.
Decan 27: Sustained Warmth and the Alchemy of Small Frustrations
On the temperature shift from 13,800K liberation to 3,800K compassion, learning that small controllable frustrations build resilience, and the 172 million kilometers traveled while discovering that 'I don't know' is wisdom
Decan 26: The Corner Star's Teaching on Discernment
On living where constellations touch, learning discernment through constraint, and the 175 million kilometers traveled while building liberation through empathy as Alpheratz remained invisible
Decan 25: When the Hidden Star Teaches Vision
On aspiration through volatility, F-U money as creative sovereignty, and trusting vision when the star remains hidden behind clouds for nine of ten nights
Decan 24: Building Systems That Outlive You
On agent mode as thinking transformation, building what holds when you step away, and the 535 million kilometers traveled while testing whether foundations could endure
Decan 23: Blooming in the Desert: When the Dying Star Teaches Transformation Through Instability
On learning to glow under pressure, showing up when it feels absurd, and the 535 million kilometers we traveled while transformation unfolded
